Island Lake Pale Ale
About The Beer
Island Lake Pale Ale was brewed to be uncomplicated in the best way. It brings just enough hop character to keep things interesting, but stays smooth and easy from first sip to last (reword this). It’s the beer that doesn’t try too hard — and doesn’t need to.
The Story Behind The Name
Island Lake Pale Ale is named after Island Lake Conservation Area just outside Orangeville, Ontario. If you’ve walked the boardwalk at sunset or spent a quiet afternoon along the shoreline, you understand the feeling we were trying to capture. It’s calm but vibrant. Easygoing but memorable. We wanted a pale ale that reflected that same balance. Not aggressive. Not heavy. Just smooth, fruit-forward, and reliable. Like the lake itself, it’s the kind of experience you come back to again and again.

Island Lake Pale Ale has quietly become a go-to first pint for many of our regulars. It’s approachable, balanced, and dependable — exactly what we set out to brew.
Food Pairings
Island Lake Pale Ale pairs beautifully with smash burgers, fish tacos, grilled chicken, and wood-fired pizza. Its mild bitterness and fruit-forward character complement lighter fare without overpowering it. It’s also a great patio beer alongside charcuterie boards and mild cheeses. The citrus and melon notes brighten up rich or salty foods, making it a versatile choice for casual meals and gatherings.
