A Winter Sipper With a Story Behind the Name
During prohibition, police relied on dogs specially trained to sniff out hidden or bootlegged alcohol. These dogs became known as Hooch Hounds. With its bold character and 7.5 percent strength, this Scotch Ale would have been an easy find for them.
Hooch Hound Scotch Ale (Wee Heavy) is a nod to that history. It is a full bodied beer meant for slower moments and colder weather. Despite its strength, it stays balanced and smooth, making it a comfortable winter companion.
